      Disclosed is a Suspension Assembly design used in Hard Disk
Drives to achieve high swaging torque by using swaging method.

      In order to improve the swaging torque between Head Suspension
Assemblies and an Actuator by swaging process, we usually design too
much excess interference.  If the interference is too much, the shape
of the Mount Plate changes after swaging process.  This affects the
load force of the HSA.  On the other hand, if the interference is too
little, HSAs can't be connected on an Actuator.

      By using a swaging boss with cogs, improve the swaging torque
can be improved without degrading the load force because there exists
high friction force between HSAs and an Actuator.  Therefore, there
is no need for excess interference.  The Figure shows several
examples.
