Abstract

Disclosed is the mechanical structure (hereafter fixture) to guide and fix the notebook PC to the most suitable position on the Over Head Projector (OHP) easily. The fixture also has the capability to cut the light leak around the notebook. This fixture is invented to make the notebook PC put on the OHP without separating display from the system unit.

New Fixture for Over Head Projector Notebook Personal Computer

      Disclosed is the mechanical structure (hereafter fixture) to
guide and fix the notebook PC to the most suitable position on the
Over Head Projector (OHP) easily.  The fixture also has the
capability to cut the light leak around the notebook.  This fixture
is invented to make the notebook PC put on the OHP without separating
display from the system unit.

      The fixture in Fig. 1 shows an example of this invention.  The
fixture has some suction cups and put the notebook PC on the glass of
the OHP stage.  Because of the OHP stage glass is normalized A4 x A4
size, if the suction cups are located at the edge of the glass, the
Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel is settled in the same position at
all times.  If the fixture is designed so that the center of LCD
center is positioned just on the optical axis of the OHP, user can
put the notebook PC at the best place unconsciously.  Also, the light
leak from the OHP at the top of the LCD panel is cut by the frame
that supports the suction cups.  Another big advantage of this
invention is that it can be implemented into any OHP on the market
regardless of their shape.

      This fixture can be designed depending on the weight and the
size of the product flexibly changing the size or the number of the
suction cup and the size of the frame to cut the light leak.
