Universal Disk Contamination Extraction Unit

Disclosed is a device used for disk contamination on all major
disk products for repeatable quantification and measurements.

The basic design of the Universal Disk Contamination Extraction
Unit is constructed of nylon and teflon with only one moving part.
The stand made of nylon supports an array of fitted teflon disk
stages that accommodate all disk products (Fig. 1).  Once a disk is
placed on the stage it can be rotated and rinsed with solvent to
extract contamination into a funnel collector/micro filter for
analysis (Fig. 2).

The use of the Universal Disk Contamination Extraction Unit has
made it possible for manufacturing and development to have a clean
repeatable tool for disk contamination extractions for all disk
products.
