Flexure Cutting Design for Light Weight Suspension

      Disclosed is a Flexure Design for reducing mass of suspension
to improve dynamic characteristics and shock resistance.

      Fig. 1 shows a Conventional Flexure Design.  This cutting
design keeps flexure material around alignment hole.

      Fig. 2 shows the New Flexure Design and Cutting Method.  The
most important point is to remove flexure material around alignment
hole.  By removing the flexure material around this portion, flexure
mass comes to 20-30% lower than the current design.

      This new design improves suspension dynamic characteristics and
shock resistance by reducing inertia and effective mass.  This
technology is very important for next generation's suspension.
