Abstract

Disclosed is an extension chute which is used for the paper insertion of finance passbook and document printers. The chute is detachable to allow chute size selection. Therefore, it is possible to supply the most suitable chute for the paper size. This makes the paper handling operation become easier than before. The detachable chute also reduces the packaging and delivery cost, because the packaging size becomes small.

Extension Chute

Disclosed is an extension chute which is used for the paper
insertion of finance passbook and document printers.  The chute is
detachable to allow chute size selection.  Therefore, it is possible
to supply the most suitable chute for the paper size.  This makes the
paper handling operation become easier than before.  The detachable
chute also reduces the packaging and delivery cost, because the
packaging size becomes small.

The chute (1) (shown in Fig. 1) has a projection (2) which is
inserted to a depression (3) of the printer.  The chute (1) is
installed
with two screws (4) after the insertion of the chute to the printer.

The chute size is selectable for the paper size.  For example,
the chute (A) (shown in Fig. 2) is used for the main operation of a
bill or a check whose vertical size is short.  The chute (B) is used
for the main operation of a slip or passbook whose size is B6.  The
chute (C) is used for a document whose size is over A4.

The damage of the chute need not be worried when the printer is
delivered, because the chute is removed from the printer and packed
separately.  The detachable chute also makes the packaging size small
and so reduces the packaging and delivery cost.  Furthermore, it can
be easily replaced when it is broken.
