Divided Frame Card for Liquid Crystal Display

Disclosed is dividing the frame card of Liquid Crystal Display
(LCD) module to minimize the stress on the Tape Automated Bonding
(TAB) leads soldered on the frame card.

When thermal shock is applied to the LCD module, it may cause a
damage on TAB leads by thermal expansion and shrink of frame card.
As the result of dividing a frame card into two pieces, for example,
their length is cut in half so that the amount of thermal expansion
can also be half, then it can minimize the stress on the TAB leads.
The Figure shows a example of divided frame cards (1).
