      Disclosed is a structure to:
  1.  Expand Infrared Ray (IR) module connectivity and enhance
       usability by attaching disconnected IR module to Communication
       Assistant Tag (CAT).
  2.  Provide PC Card to change Physical transmission layer by
physical
       replacement, such as "IR to Radio Frequency (RF)" or "IR to
       Cable".

      PC card, such as IR adapter, has two major part, one is Logic
circuit and other is Analog Circuit, and this Analog circuit takes
care of Physical Link Layer of communication.

      Integration of IR module into PC card form factor improved
portability of IR adapter for portable PCs.  But the Characteristics
of Light (Line of Sight) limits physical placement at communication.

      By providing separated design and providing proper connector
within PC card, this physical layer can be replaced by RF module or
cable, or any other.

      With this structure, Usability is enhanced for Physical
placement for IR link also, by attaching it to Communication
Assistant Tag which is a station to connect IR module with link
method to host.
