Cell Stopper Design for Liquid Crystal Display Module

      Disclosed is a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) cell stopper design
which is able to fix LCD cell on the frame X, Y and Z all directions,
and make Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) larger than current design.

      Fig. 1 shows the example of current LCD cell stopper design.
Four L-character projections are added on the frame to fit four
corners of LCD cell.  So some notches are needed on PCB to four
L-character projections, and LCD cell is fixed in the projections on
the frame X and Y direction.  The Z direction of LCD cell is fixed in
LCD bezel cover.

      Fig. 2 shows the example of this new LCD cell stopper design.
Two latches are established on the frame to fit two corners.  Two
latches are located right corner edge in X-TAB side (A) and left
corner edge Y-TAB side (B) of LCD cell.  Then, two latches fix X, Y
and Z directions at the same time.  For example, latch (A) works that
X direction is fixed by TFT glass and the latch, and Y direction is
fixed by color filter and same latch, and Z direction is fixed by TFT
glass and same latch.  Latch (B) is just like latch (A).

      Therefore, it is possible to remove some notches of X and Y PCB
at the corners because the two corners don't need L-character
projection,
and X, Y and Z all directions are fixed LCD cell in LCD frame if take
off
LCD bezel cover.
