Abstract

Disclosed is a New Jumper System which doesn't require pin header. To make electrical contact, the current jumper system should be inserted to the pin header which is mounted on the Print Circuit Board (PCB). Giving a role of self holding against the PCB to the new jumper, it is able to make electrical contact without a pin header.

Jumper System for Print Circuit Board without Pin Header

      Disclosed is a New Jumper System which doesn't require pin
header.  To make electrical contact, the current jumper system should
be inserted to the pin header which is mounted on the Print Circuit
Board (PCB).  Giving a role of self holding against the PCB to the
new jumper, it is able to make electrical contact without a pin
header.

      Fig. 1 shows the example of this new jumper system which has
the ability to make contact between the pad of front and back side.
The contact pin which is shaped like the character 'U', creates a
holding force for PCB.  Still more added plastic mold makes more
strong force, good operations efficiency and easy handling.
Inserting this jumper with a simple structure to PCB directly, it
realizes removing of the pin header without sacrificing the following
original functions of jumper:
  1.  self holding
  2.  electrical contact
  3.  self cleaning

      Fig. 2 shows the example of the jumper which has the function
to make contact with the side pad.  It is easy to make contact
between more than three pads using an extended jumper (Fig. 3).
Also,
this type is able to make contact between every two or three pads.
