Lock Mechanism

      Disclosed is a battery safe lock mechanism for Notebook PC.
Fig. 1 shows the mechanical structure around battery slot, and it
contains Battery Pack (1), Base cover (2), Lock knob (3) and Spring
(4).

      Fig. 2 shows the action of the Lock Knob (3) in direction B and
A for enabling to lock and unlock Battery Pack (1).   Spring (4)
pushes the Lock Knob (3) in direction B.

      Fig. 3 shows safe lock status.  If the Lock Knob (3) is moved
in direction C, safe lock function is available.  In this case, the
Lock Knob (3) is not moved in direction A because of ribs on bottom
surface of the Lock Knob (3).

      Since this mechanism minimize the number of parts, this can be
applicable for all safe lock system.
