Expanding Inside Diameter Plating Mandrel for Memory Disks

A tool to captivate a memory disk on to an Inside Diameter (ID)
nickel plating mandrel is disclosed.

The expanding mandrel is a two-piece tool.  The first piece is
a collapsible grooved mandrel that is inserted through the ID of the
disks.  Once this is complete, the second piece, the mandrel
expander, is inserted into the first piece which expands the mandrel
and locks the disk into the grooves.  To unload the disks from the
tool simply remove the mandrel expander from the collapsible mandrel
and then the collapsible mandrel is free to be removed from the
disks.
