Proportional Font File Format for Common Font Editor

Disclosed is a proportional font format.  Proportional font
image on this file format can be edited by common fixed-size font
editor.

The Figure shows the example of editing a character image.  In
this format, a fixed-size font editor whose editing box has enough
width to edit the widest character in the character set is necessary.

Character image is edited at the left side, and the right side
left over is filled with dummy dots.  Therefore, the width of each
character image is specified by the width of dummy dot block.

Font driver for this format recognizes the width of dummy dot
block, and the characters are displayed or printed proportionally.
