Hard Error-Prevention Method in Hard Disk Drive

      Disclosed is the error recovery enhancement method by
implementing temporary reassign area when any error occurs which
exceeds hidden retry process.

      The table area contains the Logicak Block Address (LBA) table
and the sector data area.  When the error occurs during the data
transfer between the disk and the sector buffer, control code tries
to re-read or re-write the data to the target sector area.  When this
retry exceeds the predetermined count, but succeeded without the
reallocation, the LBA address and the data are stored in the table.
If the error recovery routine goes to the reallocation, then this
table entry will be made invalid.

      If the hard error occurs, the control code reads the table and
see whether the target area is temporary saved or not, and if saved,
the saved data will be used and the target area will be reallocated.

      When the table area becomes full, the least recent used data
will be over written to the new registered one.

This operation will save the hard error ratio for the read and write
operation.
