      Disclosed is a concept of mechanical structure for a Notebook
Personal Computer (PC) to make various functions of PCs with minimum
parts variation.

This consists of three concepts:
  1.  Electrical board is split into 6 cards (Main logic, Central
       Processing Unit (CPU), Audio, Memory, Video and Power Supply
       card).  Each card has some types from low-end to high
function.
       This combination enables many versions of PCs by changing only
a
       few cards (Fig. 1).
  2.  In this system, the height of stacking connector, which is used
       to connect two electrical boards, is variable only by changing
       one side of the connector.  Even if there are two cards; one
is
       low-functional card with low-height components, and another is
       high-functional card with tall components, the connected card
can
       be common (Fig. 2).
  3.  A shieldcase which wraps electrical boards consists of three
       parts;
      a.  Lower Shieldcase member is common for all products and
           expensive cooling system is attached here.
      b.  There are two types of Upper Shieldcase members; one is for
           low-height machines, and another is for high-functional
tall
           machines.
