Disclosed is a programming method or Graphical User Interface (GUI) objects, such as buttons, icons, and input fields, has added the conceal objects, such as panel, to prevent and reduce a user's miss operations. This method can increase the software reliability when user selects the menu and options.

Graphical User Interface Conceal Method

      Disclosed is a programming method or Graphical User Interface
(GUI) objects, such as buttons, icons, and input fields, has added
the conceal objects, such as panel, to prevent and reduce a user's
miss operations.  This method can increase the software reliability
when user selects the menu and options.

      The Figure shows the example of this programming method.  The
graphical user interface object on the display screen has the conceal
panel object.  This panel usually conceal the target object to
protect from user's miss selection and operation.  When a user wants
to operate the target object, this conceal object should be opened
with the defined operations by programming.  After opening this
conceal panel, user can do the normal operations to the target
object.  This programming concept can apply any fail-safe design as
like, power switch, timer, control buttons and essential data
updates.  And this is very similar with the real world operations
when user pushes the emergency buttons and others.  Therefore, this
object operation can be understood easily.

      The merits of this object conceal method are not only limited
to the prevent miss operation, it can also reduce the no needed
objects on the screen and show the on demand objects only.  It can
improve the useability.
