in Hard Disk Drive

      Disclosed is an algorithm to enhance a spindle motor's start-up
torque when the motor can't start up normally because of too much
friction.

      Formerly, the method to increase the motor torque was to sweep
motor current on/off frequency.  In this new algorithm, it is to
sweep VCM outer/inner current frequency and motor current on/off
frequency at the same time.

      The new algorithm has two patterns.  By combining case-1, shown
in Fig. 1, and case-2, shown in Fig. 2, the increase of motor
start-up torque can be achieved.
