Bezel and Cartridge Interlocking Features for a Tape Drive

A front bezel and interlock feature for tape drives utilizing
multiple form-factor cartridges is disclosed.

A front bezel (1) utilizes one or more intermediate features
(2) and (3), so that a large cartridge can be guided by the outermost
features of the opening, while a smaller cartridge can be guided by
the intermediate features (2) and (3).  The bezel shown could
successfully guide a cartridge filling the entire opening, or a
cartridge
that was only as wide as the intermediate features (2) and (3).

The best place to implement these features is in the the bezel,
so the user gets visual guidance and immediate tactile feedback.  The
same interlocking features can also be continued inside the drive to
help guide the cartridge throughout its travel.

The Figure shows two features.  However, the feature could be a
single or multiple features, and could be contained on one side of
the drive or multiple sides of the drive.
