Flexible Harness Frame

      The Flexible Harness Frame describes a design of wire harness
assembly for Head Gimbal Assembly (HGA).  The Harness frame, which
holds wires and a tube, is possible to be elastic and is bent freely
in its plane surface direction.

      The Figure shows the example of this structure.  Set the
harness frame (1) to positioning pins (2) on a bonding tool using a
elongated positioning hole (3) and positioning hole (4).  After
bonding between wires (5) and bonding pads (6), remained wires (7)
are cut at the heel (8) by pulling a part (9) of the harness frame
(1) using slits (10) and a elongated positioning hole (3).

      The Flexible Harness Frame makes it possible to accurately
separate remaining wires from bonding pads of slider for HGA.  This
enables the existing process to be as it is and to avoid any slider
damages caused by physical contact in the operation.
