Safety Mechanism of Paper Exit

Disclosed is a safety mechanism of a paper exit in a
self-service information terminal which is operated by general people
including children.  The mechanism has a triangular paper-guide which
prevents fingers from going into the machine through the paper exit,
and from touching the internal dangerous objects.  This paper-guide
also prevents foreign matter from going into the machine.

The printer (1) shown in Fig. 1 sends out the paper (2) to the
paper exit (3).  The guide-A (4) is installed just behind the slit of
paper exit.  The guide-A (4) prevents fingers from going into the
machine and also foreign matters which cause paper jam, for example,
a piece of paper, etc.

The guide-A (4) is used when the printed paper is curled up.
The guide-A (5) shown in Fig. 2 is used when the paper is curled
down.
