Dome-Shaped Touch-Sensitive Computer Pointer Device

Disclosed is a method for a touch-sensitive pointing device in
the shape of a dome.

A pointing device comprised of a touch-sensitive surface in the
shape of a dome, or partial convex sphere is disclosed.  It appears
as a dome or a partial ball raising from a surface.  Touching the
surface area of the dome surface provides pointer movement input to a
computer.  Additional touch-sensitive areas on or around the dome, or
regular buttons, are used to provide button input.
