Flow Balance Label

      Disclosed is a method of balancing airflow in an electronic
package having multiple featurable units.

      An ordinary label (1) is attached to the front grill of an
empty power chassis (2).  The label is sized to create a flow
restriction through the exposed grillwork (3) of the empty chassis so
that its overall flow impedance matches that of a live feature unit.
The resulting filler chassis assembly thus balances the airflow path
impedance of the filler chassis with other operating units placed in
parallel.  The empty chassis is the same part as used in live units.
The label includes a barcode and warning information (see the
Figure).
