Multiple Edge Magnetic Tape Cleaner with Vacuum

Disclosed are double bump cross-slotted tape cleaner blocks,
each of which consists of multiple slots with multiple cleaning
edges.  The debris accumulated at the cleaning edge is being carried
away by a vacuum.

A cross-slotted cleaner blade with multiple edges is
shown.  Two cross-slotted blocks are located on either side of the
brass housing.  Each slot has two sharp edges, and in between the
edges, there  is a vacuum, so that the debris from the tape will not
accumulate at the  surface or the edge of the cleaner block.  What we
have are:
  1.  A cleaner block with multiple slots
  2.  Each slot contains two cleaner edges
  3.  Between two sharp edges, there is vacuum to bring down the
       debris
  4.  Vacuum are present in all the slots
  5.  The cleaner block is made of nonmagnetic carbide or other
hardened material suitable for cleaning and low wearing
       and long life
  6.  Two cleaner blocks to present a surface profile similar
       to a funnel
  7.  Vacuum is being pulled to create a funnel effect thereby
sucking down the tape between the two cleaner blocks
  8.  The central or internal funnel creates an internal wrap
angle and enables the tape to be passing over the entire
slotted edges and results in maximum cleaning.
