Abstract

The display for the Magstar high density tape device can be moved in multiple directions. It can tilt, rotate forward and backward, and can be lifted out of the holder. The display is sitting in a holder. The holder can be tilted via a rotating pivot. The entire holder has a rear stand which sits on a support structure which has an arc-like shape to it. The arc-like stand has two legs and a slot, which enables the entire display to move back and forth and slide in and out. The display holder is secured via the slot by a self locking screw, shoulder washer and a spring. The combination of these features enables the display to have the multi-directional degrees of freedom desired for improved display visibility from a variety of angular viewing positions and to be highly usable.
