Dynamic Boundary Between Primary Defect Map and Reassign Defect Map

      Disclosed is a method to increase the memory size of the
Reassign Defect Map (RDM) according to Primary Defect Map (PDM)
entries by changing the boundary between PDM and RDM dynamically.

      The memory size of PDM and RDM are fixed till now.  But if few
entries are in PDM, the other memory of PDM, shown in the Figure, is
NOT used forever.  To make the boundary between PDM and RDM boundary
dynamic, effective usage of memory can be realized.

      Because of updating RDM by auto reassignment, the dynamic
boundary between PDM and RDM is set by 512 bytes unit.  Also, by
finding the header "RDM", RDM can be identified.

      This method can apply to any case, just like the relationship
between PDM and RDM.
