Read Look Ahead on Non-Read Command

      Disclosed is an algorithm of firmware of a Hard Disk Drive
which shortens the system boot-up time.

      The system boot-up process includes identification of the
attached drive and diagnostics of the drive in many cases.  For such
a purpose, the system issues some commands that are not READ/WRITE
commands.

      Therefore, performing Read Look-Ahead operations upon
non-READ/WRITE commands improves the time required for system boot
up.

The algorithm of this method is as follows:
   IF the command is neither Read nor Write
   { process the requested command function;
   determine target sector to be cached;
   check cache hit status;
   start Look Ahead;
   signal Command complete to the host system; }
