Disclosed is a new method that provides a user with the way to input "YOMI" (how to read) to Kana-to-Kanji conversion program in an application (for example, word processor). Using this method, the user can input YOMI from a "YOMI file", not from input devices (for example, keyboard).

Automatic Kana-to-Kanji Conversion by using "YOMI" File

      Disclosed is a new method that provides a user with the way to
input "YOMI" (how to read) to Kana-to-Kanji conversion program in an
application (for example, word processor).  Using this method, the
user can input YOMI from a "YOMI file", not from input devices (for
example, keyboard).

      YOMI file: YOMI file includes all of YOMI that a user wants to
convert to Kanji mixed characters.  It is written in ROMAJI or
HIRAGANA.

Example:
  1.  Make the YOMI file which contains the following YOMI.  This
       example YOMI file is written in ROMAJI.
                        watasiha gakusei desu.
  2.  Input YOMI file to the application (for example, word
       processor).
  3.  The application reads YOMI file and passes the character
       codes of them to a Kana-to-Kanji conversion program.
  4.  Kana-to-Kanji conversion program converts them to Kanji
       mixed characters.
