Abstract

Disclosed is a practical receptacle design for plugging Alternating Current/Direct Current (AC/DC) adapters and regular AC plugs concurrently. Normally, a receptacle has horizontal or vertical plural female outlets. When plugging an AC/DC adapter to the one of the outlet places, the converter head hides the next outlet place due to the converter hardware. This new design coexists horizontal and vertical outlets and makes effective plugging even if the plugs include AC/DC adapters. o Plugs AC/DC adapter at either end. (1) & (6) o Plugs AC/DC adapter at next either end. (2) & (5) o Plugs regular AC plug at middle two outlets. (3) & (4)

      Disclosed is a practical receptacle design for plugging
Alternating Current/Direct Current (AC/DC) adapters and regular AC
plugs concurrently.  Normally, a receptacle has horizontal or
vertical plural female outlets.  When plugging an AC/DC adapter to
the one of the  outlet places, the converter head hides the next
outlet place due to the  converter hardware.  This new design
coexists horizontal and vertical outlets and makes effective plugging
even if the plugs include AC/DC adapters.

  o  Plugs regular AC plug at middle two outlets.  (3) & (4)

      This receptacle arrangement makes a maximum of four pluggable
outlets and does not interfere between (1) & (2) or (5) & (6).

      As the ripple effect, when face-to-face persons use a common
receptacle, the earth holes (*) direction identify which is the
user's plug, without user's name tag.  (In advance, settle person A
uses (1)(2) & (4) and person B uses the others.)

      This outlet's design does not increase manufacturing costs
because re-use current receptacle base and to reduce outlets die
cost, divide with two blocks between (1)(2)(3) and (4)(5)(6)side,
then use same block for common parts.
