Seal Pattern on the Liquid Crystal Display Panel

Disclosed is the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel structure
which has two corner-seal patterns or a round corner-seal pattern at
each corner area.

The ordinary seal pattern is shown in Fig. 1 (right angle
seal pattern).  The stress at the breaking process of the glass is
concentrated on point A, and it causes the break failure at point B.
By changing the seal pattern to a two-corner seal pattern or a round
corner seal pattern (shown in Fig. 2), breaking stress concentration
can be reduced, and it decreases the break failure rate in the LCD
manufacturing factory.  The effectiveness was confirmed in the actual
manufacturing process.
