Abstract

Disclosed is the control methodology of Head Gimbal Assembly (HGA) Static Attitude that is Pitch Static Attitude (PSA) and Roll Static Attitude (RSA). The content is to pre-form bent leads by a pusher before they are compulsively yielded by a bond wedge tip and ultrasonically bonded to gold pads, as shown in Fig. 1.

Bent Lead Pre-Forming for Wireless Suspension

Disclosed is the control methodology of Head Gimbal Assembly
(HGA) Static Attitude that is Pitch Static Attitude (PSA) and Roll
Static Attitude (RSA).  The content is to pre-form bent leads by a
pusher before they are compulsively yielded by a bond wedge tip and
ultrasonically bonded to gold pads, as shown in Fig. 1.

Integrated Laminated Suspension (ILS) is the Suspension
Assembly whose Circuit Pattern and Suspension are combined, as shown
in Fig.2.  Bent Lead, which is an extension component of the circuit
pattern (Lead), is provided for connection to four gold pads of a
magnetic head.
