Structure of Driver Integrated Circuit Reducing Power Consumption

      Disclosed is a circuit structure of digital-to-analog
conversion method driver Integrated Circuit (IC) for Thin Film
Transistor/Liquid Crystal Display (TFT/LCD).

      The Figure shows a circuit block diagram of a driver
IC.  Reference voltage V9 is selected, which is directly connected to
the output switch.  There is no influence of driver IC cost and chip
size, as the output switch can be designed for a small size.  V9 is
provided the same voltage supplier as common plate voltage (VCOM).
Digital-to-analog conversion circuit and output amplifier circuit can
be disabled as both circuits are not necessary to drive the output
load choosing V9.  This enables the reduction of power consumption of
the driver IC.
