Booklet Issue Mechanism

      Disclosed is a media issue mechanism that has two pushers.  As
these pushers have hook shapes and move independently, this mechanism
can issue thick media (like a booklet) reliably.

      The Figure shows the media issue mechanism.  When the pushers
issue the media, vertical edges of the pushers are pushed by counter
force (F) and counter clockwise movement is generated; therefore,
horizontal edges of the pushers push down a booklet.  Consequently,
the pushers can push out the booklet reliably.  When the pushers
return to  home position, they are pushed by vertical force (N) and
clockwise movement is generated; therefore, the pushers can move
smoothly on the  booklet.  Besides, as media like a booklet are
folded, the near side of the fold is thicker than the other side.
Therefore, the mechanism that has two independent pushers is in
effect.
