      Disclosed is a personal computer input device which
combines the keyboard with the mouse.  For the OS/2* environment, it
saves desk space for the mouse and increases throughput for multiple
windows.

      The layout of the device is shown in the figure.  It is a
standard keyboard layout with mouse ball and mouse button located
under the space bar key.  It is designed for thumbs to perform the
mouse function - right thumb to roll the mouse ball and left thumb
for the mouse button.
