Cpi-C Dynamic Configuration

Common Programming Interface - Communication (CPI-C)
requires pre- defined profiles of side information called Symbolic
Destinations.  The side information consists of the partner_LU_name,
mode_name, and the TP_name and are used when initiating a
conversation.

An application starts a program by calling a CPI-C
initialization function, passing to it a Symbolic Destination name.
The CPI-C function uses the side information to initialize a
conversation.  If a Symbolic Destination is added or changed, then
any current conversations must be stopped and restarted before it can
use the new information.

By using the following function, an application will be able to
"dynamically" add Symbolic Destination or temporarily override the
side information in existing Symbolic Destinations.

To add a Symbolic Destination, a call is made with a new
Symbolic Destination and specifying the side information to be
associated with it.  To temporarily override the side information of
an existing Symbolic Destination, a call is made using an existing
Symbolic Destination Name and specifying the new side information to
be associated with it.  After adding or changing the side
information, the program flow continues normally.  The modifications
for existing Symbolic Destinations will be valid for only the calling
process.
