Display Device Driver Unconfiguration Support

Disclosed is a manual configuration and unconfiguration
support mechanism for a new RISC System/6000* (RS/6000) display
device.

In the ordinary daily usage of the RS/6000 system, a display
device is configured at the system rebooting time. There is hardly
any need for the user to unconfigure a specific display device while
the system is running. However, in the manufacturing card test
environment, the manual configuration and unconfiguration of a
display device becomes mandatory.  In order to shorten the test
cycle, a display device card needs to be manually unconfigured after
the test, be replaced by a new card, and be manually configured again
without rebooting the system.

The new display device driver implementation has taken this
requirement into its consideration.  By freeing the pinned memory,
microcode file, timer, etc., at the device termination time, the new
display device driver can now be unconfigured and configured without
rebooting the system.

This feature can increase the manufacturing card test
productivity significantly.
