Coinjection Press Nozzle

Disclosed is a method to prevent the inner needle of the
coinjection press nozzle assembly from bending when closing pressure
is applied by adding supports to area of needle that bends (see the
figure).

The addition of four diamond-shaped supports 1 located on the
needle where the bending occurs will prevent this from occurring.
The end of the inner needle 2 that bends can be made as one piece
with the supports machined on as part of the needle.  This portion of
the needle is treaded into the main body of the inner needle and tack
welded in place.
