Method of Making Static Database on On-Line Servicing

      Disclosed is a method of making a static condition of a user
database, which was updated continually on on-line servicing, during
free time and logically without stopping the on-line service.  This
function has the following merits:
  o  Unnecessary to change structure of user database
  o  Realization of high-performance using TIMESTAMP

      Fig. 1 shows the outline of this function.  For example, if
making a static condition of a user database at 0:00am, which timing
is ' STATIC-CHECKPOINT', on on-line servicing, set STATIC-CHECKPOINT
by command (1).  After setting it, if a record on the user database
is updated by '-7000' transaction (2), the record replaced '13000'
from '20000' (3).  At the same time preserving '20000', the record
before updated, into other database, which named 'STACK-DATABASE',
with user database's key field information and so on (4).
Static-image required  program, means to want to process using user
database's image of 0:00am;  can get '20000' from STACK-DATABASE by
this function (5).  If a record  never updates after the
STATIC-CHECKPOINT sets, Static-image required program gets the record
on the user database (6).  About insert recond,  the program a gets
status of 'NOT FOUND' (7).

      Fig. 2 shows a method of preserving static-image into
STACK-DATABASE using TIMESTAMP.  A case of TIMESTAMP of setting
STATIC-CHECKPOINT is 't1' (a) If a record on a user database is
replaced '13000' from '20000', 't1' sets on the replaced record.
