On-Demand Retrieval of Attached File in Mail System

Disclosed is a program that retrieves only subjects and bodies
in mail.  The program shows an icon which stands for including
attachment files in the mail, and the user can get the files on
demand when viewing  the mail.

The Lotus Notes* system has the capability to include
attachment files in a mail as well as subject and body.  It takes a
long time to receive the attachment files, and the files sometimes
occupy a large amount of disk space.  But, in many cases, users need
only the subjects and the bodies, but do not need the files,
especially users in CC list.

This program shows an icon on a program panel which stands for
including the attachment files in a mail.  The program receives the
mail without the attachment files.  If the files in a mail are
needed, only  necessary files can be received later by pushing the
button to request  the server to send the files.

The object to retrieve on demand is not limited to the
attachment files, but it can apply to any objects included in the
mail.  Also, it can apply to any mail systems which have the
capability to include any object other than the mail subject.
