      Disclosed is a method for sorting incoming mail automatically
in a mail system.  This makes it easy to recognize the category of
the incoming mail before opening it.

      A general mail system shows only a list of titles of the
mail.  It is not able to know what category to which the mail is
related, because the title may not represent the contents of the
mail, and also  the mail may not have a title.  The disclosed method
can be functional  regardless of the existence of the title, because
it sorts the mail by  keywords derived from the contents of the mail.
Keywords appear in the mail many times; that is, they are very
important words in the mail.  Keywords are the words which indicate
the category to which the  mail is related.  Sorting mail by
keywords, mail which talks about the same keywords is placed close to
each other in the list.  It makes  it easy to find mail which is
related to any interested categories. This  method does not need the
predefined keywords at all.

Fig. 1 shows how this method works:
  1.  Determine whether there is incoming mail.
  2.  Get mail from a mail server.
  3.  Derive keywords from the contents of the mail.  Many
       keywords may be derived except for stop words which are
       not in keywords.  In this example, only a frequently
       appearing keyword is used.
