Large Glass Plate Handling with Non-contact Pad

       Disclosed is a device for handling large size glass plate by
non-contact pad.

(Target)
  a.  Handling method for large size, more than 550x650, glass
       plate for LCD display.
  b.  Exposer, inspection tester and other machines to handle
       glass.

       Our method advantage is as follows:
  a.  Using non-contact pad for handling of large size glass
       for LCD display.
  b.  Vacuum a front side ,color filter side, by the pad.
  c.  Nonaccess a back side for the handling.
  d.  Able to pick up from full flat plane larger than the glass
       plate.
  e.  Able to avoid from contamination and less damage by
       non-contact.

 Usual method is (a) using roller and contact a back side, (b)
contact only 10mm width from glass edge.  Therefore the warpage of
the glass plate is large, and (c) not able to pick up from full flat
plane larger than the glass plate.

       Non-contact pad is a device to make vacuum force by blowing
air to all direction in horizontal.  See Fig 1.  The device is a
cylindrical shape with 40mm diameter and 20mm height.  the air is
supplied from top side to bottom side and blown all direction in
horizontal.  The air blow makes vacuum force by venturi effect.  The
vacuum force is in proportion to air flow.  It makes 2N force by 25
little/min air blow.  The glass plate floats when the vacuum force is
larger than the gravity....
