Visualization Method for Electromagnetic simulation tool with Common
Mode Current Extraction

   Disclosed is a method to visualize the common mode
current in the result of EMI Simulation tool.

   The method consists of simulation result file reading,
calculation of common mode current and screen display process.

   The simulation itself is not included in this
disclosure.  The simulation result is obtained any simulation tool as
long as its result contains current distribution data.  The current
distribution must be in the form that it contains current value and
its position in the Cartegian coordinate system.  The current value
must be in complex number to include the current phase information.

   The common mode current in x direction is calculated by
adding all the electric current at a certain x-position.  This
process is repeated for all x position.  After all, the
one-dimensional electric current distribution for each x position is
obtained.

   By plotting this value, the x-, y- or z-directional
common mode current can be seen.  As the common mode current
obtained by this way also has the current phase information, the
current distribution in a specific phase can be calculated by getting
the real part of the obtained current distribution.

   The radiation from the common mode current can be
evaluated from the electric dipole moment of the current
