   Disclosed is a design method of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)
Backlight system applied slight Z-section metal for thinner and
narrow border product.

   Using lightpipe (PMMA: polymethyl methacrylate) is popular
in recent Backlight system.  That is ordinary fixed in Backlight
frame by screw or latch.  In case of screw connection, there needs
some thickness for screw in Backlight.  The other is latch
connection.  In both cases, binding space is required.  To achieve
thinner and narrow border design of LCD Module, bind margin must be
minimized.  However LCD becomes fragile.

   Impulse force in shock is likely to concentrate the week
point that is contact points into two objects.  Then screw contact
point or latch part is easy to break.  Physical approach for
anti-shock/vibration- stress is to use cover metal around the LCD in
general.  But its concept is opposite to lightweight design, which is
LCD's merit.

   In material characteristics, after a humidity stress test,
sheets on backlight are waved and luminance uniformity becomes worse
because lightpipe deformed at slight edge of it (opposite side of
lamp).  The reason why lightpipe was waved is dimension expanding
after absorbing water under enough of humidity condition, and point
fixing method of lightpipe in frame.  Some area is strained by
expanding and others are not because there are fixed at points.
