Abstract

Disclosed is the ticket issue system which has RMTP (Reliable Multicast Transmission Protocol) information distribution and the printed bar code ticket, such example as the two dimensional barcode, with encrypted data. It can have the highly reliable ticket verification function which protects the reuse and/or copied ticket even if it is misused at the remote site for the done deal.

RMTP Ticket Issue System

Disclosed is the  ticket issue system which has RMTP
(Reliable Multicast Transmission Protocol) information distribution
and the printed bar code ticket, such example as the two dimensional
barcode, with encrypted data.  It can have the highly reliable ticket
verification function which protects the reuse and/or copied ticket
even if it is misused at the remote site for the done deal.

Fig1.  shows the concept of the RMTP Ticket issue system:
  (1) The ticket issue machine writes the data of serial number,
amount, and etc., with the encrypted bar code data.
  (2) If the machine reads the ticket during the transaction the
data is sent to the RMTP server to protect the reuse or
copy.  (3) The server broadcasts the data to the client
ticket reader and the ticket reader stores it.  (4) If the
misused ticket is read by the reader, it decodes and
compare the encrypted serial number to check the ticket
      effectiveness.
Notes: The normal data base has slower performance when
handling the large number of transactions ,but this system
can transmit the data very quickly and the comparison can be
   done locally.
