Suggestion for New User Interface for Displaying Received Message
in Multi-Window Environment - Text Chat Implementation

   A program is disclosed that a new user interface for
displaying received and inputting messages in multi-window
environment using text chat implementation.

   General user interface for text chat has following
advantages.  (1) it is easy to view the history of chat messages,
and (2) it can display received message in a list box during
inputting new message.

   On the other hand, it has some disadvantages.  (1) when
chat messages are displayed, other windows are disappeared in the
background of chat window and (2) when chat messages are displayed,
other windows loose focus and user must re-focus a window again.  See
Fig.1 for general user interface.

   The new user interface I suggest has following
features.  (1) received message is displayed on the title bar of top
Z-order window, (2) user can over-write reply message on received
message and hit enter key, the message is sent, (3) if the top
Z-order window, chat message is displayed on, loose focus, chat
message also disappears, and (4) if the top Z-order window, chat
message is displayed on, is closed, chat message is moved on the new
top Z-order window.  See Fig.2 for suggested user interface.

   Using this new user interface brings us following
advantages.  (1) this interface never disturb other window related
working, and (2) user have no need to switch windows because he can
