   Disclosed is a Dummy card which
has a flap, to support both normal (Type2) and enhanced (Type3) for
very thin Notebook PC.  (Dwg 1)

   PC Card slot in Portable/Handheld PC like Windows CE
machine has to have a cover to close opening of PC Card slot when
user does not insert any PC Card.  But recently, Thinner profile of
the machine is required, it is hard to put Doors (Flaps) like current
Thinkpad series, because there is no space to have hinge mechanism
for Doors/Flaps.  So, for very thin machine, dummy card is ordinary
used for closing PC card slot opening.  This dummy card is good if PC
card slot support only Type2, but if the slot both Type 2 and Type 3,
it have problems.
  1.  If Dummy card that has type 2 profile is provided,
      the opening for Type3 expanded area is remained.  There
      is always Opening except user puts in Type3 PC card.
  2.  If Dummy card that has type 3 profile is provided, the
      opening for Type 3 expanded area is remained when user
      put Type2 PC card.

   Anyway we could not find how to close PC Card slot opening
of very thin product in the traditional/ordinary ways.

   To make Small Dummy card that size is only Type3 expanded
area, and make it have a flap for Type 2 area.  The dummy card can be
fixed at the location of Type 3 expanded area.
