Adding Extra Lpcal Storage in Network Computer

Disclosed is a method of adding extra local storage in
Network/Pervasive Computer with space saving.  Network Computers
being small there is not much room to add extra local storage.  This
invention solves this problem by using the same space for Boot code
and extra storage ROM.

This invention uses a 32 pin PLCC footprint for the Boot
Code and 32 pin DIP footprint for the extra Storage ROM.  The 32 pin
PLCC footprint resides under 32 pin DIP footprint.  Once the Boot
Code has been soldered down, a 32 pin DIP socket is placed there
which can be used for the extra storage.
