Support for Internal and External Speakers

Disclosed is a method for implementing internal as well as
external speakers inexpensively without compromising the audio
quality.

In this invention we use an audio connector with two extra
pins which are connected to the left and right channels if no
external speaker is plugged in.  If an external speaker is plugged
in, these two pins get disconnected and thus removing extra traces in
the path of the left and right channels.  If the audio controller
does not have a mono output to drive the internal speaker, an
inexpensive passive mixer can be used to mix the left and right
channel to drive the speaker.
