Abstract

In some instances, it may be beneficial to delay the sending of email. Some examples of this use case are as follows: 1. A user may wish to compose their email, but may not want to sent it right away or only at a specific time. 2. People who like to work over night may not want to bother his colleagues by his email, he wants to send those messages during the daytime while he is sleeping. 3. Manager wants to send congratulations to his or her team members on their anniversaries and he or she can just compose all the email at the same day and set different time for delivery. 4. Send an email as an alarm at specific time. 5. People in different time zone, send theirs email at addressee's comfortable time. The proposed solution is to have a scheduled email delivery mechanism. The proposed solution is to have a scheduled email delivery mechanism. There are two ways to implement this solution. Please refer to the diagram for more details:

1.      To implement this function on ME (NODE C)

Save your composed email as a draft on the handheld and set a value of the timer ( I named that timer as DeliverTimer ). When DeliverTimer is due, the handheld will trigger the send function to deliver the email.

2.      To implement this function on NODE A
