Abstract

This is a volumizing 6% VOC hairstyling mousse. The hair styling mousse formulation contains a cationic starch conditioning copolymer CELQUAT® LS-50 Polymer(Polyquaternium-4/Hydroxypropyl Starch Copolymer). This polymer is used to deliver conditioning and volumizing when applied to hair. This hair styling mousse also contains a amphoteric styling polymer AMPHOMER® Polymer (Octylacrylamide/Acrylates/Butylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer) for added stiffness and control of the hair. The combination of the amphoteric and the cationic starch copolymer provides extended solution stability of the mousse concentrate.
