When LEDs are placed on their substrate, light may be lost in the substrate because the substrate is not reflective (in green, a reflective part, in grey the substrate).

In order to solve that issue, it is proposed to place a soft and reflective film (such as PTFE) around the LED once the LED is placed in the system with its substrate (grey) and its reflector (green). This leads to the following configuration (in white the soft reflective film) :
