Customers can now arrange for online or call-in shopping so that they just pull up to the store's online shopping area and their groceries are brought to them. When multiple customers have submitted orders, the store personnel in charge of this service may need to go out to the customer's vehicle and determine which order to bring out or communicate through an intercom. Our solution provides a database that links a loyalty number, email address (necessary for having the online shopping option) to the make and model of the vehicle they drive.

The database mentioned above will link the email address or loyalty number to a make and model of a vehicle that the store uses. When the vehicle arrives at the store and pulls into the online shopping pickup area, a live camera or photo will search a database and compare this against the outstanding online shopping orders. This will display the name and order number for the store personnel in charge of this service so they will know right away what order to take to the customer.

As the customer pulls into the online shopping area at the store, a light indicator will let the customer know they can stop at a certain place.
